Baring of Your Soul (BYS) is a Christian, Non-Profit Organisation which was established in August 2019. The Love of the Lord Jesus Christ leads us to aspire to serve others hence the main purpose of BYS is to serve the Purpose of Lord Jesus. It is written in the scripture that;

“If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:3, NIV

In the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible, the word Charity is translated as LOVE. At Baring of Your Soul (BYS), we embody Christ’s love by extending a helping hand to those in need. We believe in empowering people to help themselves and to sustain that support over time. We do this through education, which we view as a vital tool for sustainability. Education provides opportunities for individuals not only to receive assistance (donations), but also to be encouraged to contribute to the betterment of their own lives.

Additionally, we inspire and encourage individuals who have the means to discover their purpose and make a positive impact in the lives of others. Increasingly, many people are finding it difficult to make ends meet; materialism is gradually eroding our conscience, and women and children have become especially vulnerable to abuse. These concerns inspired the creation of Baring of Your Soul. BYS was founded during a dark time in the world (Covid 19), with the hope of bringing light to the people.

 

While one person alone may not be able to change the world, our collective efforts can create a positive impact. 

Our ultimate goal is to bring hope and solace to distressed and despairing souls, fostering healing from past traumas, and in turn, contributing to the healing of the world.
